The University of Da Nang Academic Library Network

     The University of Da Nang Academic Library Network, which is a network of ten academic libraries affiliated with the educational member institutions of the University of Da Nang and the University of Da Nang Learning Information Resource Center, has a duty to meet the information needs to learn, teach and do research of the University of Da Nang's staff, faculty, students and researchers.
     The shared library catalogue system has been developed using the world's modern software. In this system, the University of Da Nang Learning Information Resource Center plays a key role in managing and operating the shared library catalogue with unified international professional standards of library and information to enable the interconnection and synchronism between the academic libraries affiliated with the educational member institutions and the whole library system.
     The shared library catalogue of the University of Da Nang provides information resources of more than 200,000 titles with 800,000 print copies (including books, serials, dissertations, theses, scientific research papers and other kinds of print materials), databases; digital material and electronic material available at the University of Da Nang.
     Besides, the shared library catalogue system is connected with an online electronic database, integrating in a large scale the index in cloud computing environments, being a mega-aggregation of hundreds of millions of scholarly e-resources including journal articles, scientific journals, e-books, scientific conference proceedings, technical reports, theses and more that are harvested from publishers and aggregators, and from the open-access repositories of hundreds of universities all over the world.

     This shared library catalogue allows its library users to search across the full breadth of content from the various libraries in the system from one interface through a single search box (One search).
