Library regulations

1: Opening hours:
From Monday to Friday: - In the morning: 7: 30 – 11:15, In the afternoon: 13:15 – 16:30

2: Library users: Faculty members, other members of the staff, postgraduates, and undergraduates of the University of Science and Education – the University of Da Nang.

3:Library cards:

A user must show the librarian his/her library card to enter the Library. Library cards may not be transferred to, or used on behalf of other people. A user must notify the Library immediately if his/her library card has been lost, or stolen so that the Library blocks his/her account. Library cards must be kept carefully until the expiry date.

4: Personal belongings (paper, personal items, and jewelry) should not be left unattended. Users should take care of their possessions at all times.The Library takes no responsibility for the security of personal belongings.

5: Users must protect and take good care of any Library resources or property. Users will be liable for any loss of, or damage to, books or other items while in their charge according to the University and Library regulations.

6: Keeping the Library neat and clean: Users are expected to dispose of their own litter in the bins provided; Users must not mark, annotate the Library desks,tables and materials, and make noise inside the library (mobile phones must be set to silent mode); A user’s bag must be kept in the Library lockers; Smoking is not permitted in the library; No food, no drinks may be brought into the Library; Explosives or dangerous substances must not be brought into the Library…

7: All users are required to dress decently. No coats, no hats, no bags may be brought into the library (only notebooks, pens and pencils are allowed)

8: Users must not take newspapers, journals, materials that are only used in the library out of the reading room. Users are expected not to misplace the materials on the shelves. If a user wants to have something photocopied, they must contact the librarian..

9: Library equipment and material facilities use: Users are expected to protect the Lirary equipment, must not use and adjust the library devices and things like lights, fans, curtains,etc… of their own choice; Users must take care of the key and the lock of the lockers where they leave their personal belongings; users are prohibited to take the library property and the keys of the lockers out of the Library

10: The Library computers are used for study and research only. Users are expected not to use the library computes to access “reactionary” or bad websites, play computer games, chat online, listen to online music, watch online movies etc…; Users are not permitted to install software, move, remove, or change the library computer accessories.

11: The Library will not serve any user that breaches the above-mentioned regulations, and depending on the level of a breach of the library regulations, a user will face a respective penalty.
